Okay. Here is an entirely pointless and useless entry for you. Have you ever been so bored one day, and it doesn't matter who you're with but let's just say you've been SO BORED one day that you've sat on Youtube and watched ghost videos? That is seriously the worst idea ever because you'll either be a) more bored or b) scared so shitless you can't sleep that night. Adam and me were watching Beverly Hills 90210 and don't ask me about it because I wouldn't be able to tell you anything other than there were some girls and those girls had some boobs. Because that is all that Adam would talk about. ANYWAY. We were bored, as I've probably already established and so we decided to Youtube that shit. Youtube it fucking good. Worst idea either of us have ever had. A few of them creeped us out, and then we hit this one where this rocking chair was in the center of a room and it was rocking back and forth by itself. Which, whatever, we laughed because it was so fake. And then out of nowhere the bitch from the Exorcist practically explodes onto the screen and we're screaming and Adam's throwing his beer drinking cap at the screen.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, it wasn't even that scary. It was stupidly fake but we both nearly shat ourselves and then I had nightmares for like 2 nights. Has this happened to anyone else? I would prefer guys to agree with me, here.

Also link me to some of your favorite ghost videos because clearly, I'm into harming my mental well being.

Okay, so. I don't know where I'm going with this, but does anyone else remember Are You Afraid of the Dark? Of course you do. You'd have to be severely retarded not to remember AYAOTD? I was only a kid when it first started, and I think my mom would rather have set fire to her garden than let me watch it, but I remember my brother and me used to watch it all the time and holy shit. I was watching that episode, today, about the ghost kid who was always cold all the time? Like now that I think about it, half of the episodes of that show were seriously not scary, but that episode in particular is just fucked. The little boy freezes to death, and his ghost is left to haunt the grounds forever because this asshole locked the key and his little jacket away. And I'm left thinking how in the frilly fuck is this a children's show? Or young teens, whatever. Nadav used to have killer nightmares where he thought that bitch of a clown was going to eat him. I'm conveniently leaving out whether I had nightmares or not.

Then there's the Goosebumps series, and I don't even care if I look stupid admitting it, but even now it scares the shit out of me. The mask one used to freak me out, because I thought I'd put on a mask for Halloween or something and it'd get stuck there FOREVER. Not that I really celebrated Halloween much, because my parents have never really approved of it but you know how it is. Impressionable kid after watching an episode of Goosebumps about a mask that gets stuck to your face forever, it's just natural to be scared. And fuck, that story where the guitar playing ghost possesses that kid and he's left to play the guitar for eternity just because the dude who died was obsessed as fuck with his mad guitar skills.

It gives me the heebyjeebies.

I guess it doesn't help that R.L Stine looks like a total fucking sexual predator when he's opening up the narrative for each episode. He literally looks like he's going to leap out and try his creeptastic Vincent Price inspired moves on you.

It's funny that when someone incredibly famous dies, the first thing you do is tell everyone. You don't even stop to take it in that the person has died. You just want to be the first to pass it on to anyone who hasn't watched CNN or.. whatever. Today, one of the world's most influential artists who practically paved the way for practically every artist to date has died. And I know it's the kind of thing you get sick of hearing about after fifty people have texted you going OMG MICHAEL JACKSON. Or Micheal in some cases. Shia called me like half an hour ago because he was beside himself with grief. Or, more like he was shocked. It was a mutual agreement that we get high and listen to David Cook's cover of Billie Jean on repeat and discuss everything that isn't Michael Jackson.

To detract from the death side of things, I suggest that you go and see Transformers as soon as you can. And I'm not saying this because Shia is pressuring me to write this or he'll never speak to me again. I'm saying it because I've seen it three times and I enjoyed each time.

I'm also pretty disappointed that we had to cancel a show for this week because I cut my hand on a rock and so I can't drum. Fucking fuck.

Oh. RIP Farrah Fawcett. Sorry your death was overshadowed by the king of pop having a cardiac arrest. I'm sure there are worse people to share a death day with, though.

I enjoy the feeling that abandoning reading gives you when you go back to it again. Some people feel it necessary to read books as a constant kind of hobby, and while sometimes I fall into that kind of pattern I really like ignoring books for a while and getting back into them. It's different than what it is if you read every day as a hobby because it's kind of refreshing? I don't know. I decided, after a certain amount of debate, and after seeing Tony Stonem reading it on Skins, automatically deeming it cool, to read Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson. I expected it to be kind of..well, shit, but it isn't. So hoorah on me for picking up a good book.

If you even bother to read, what is something you unexpectedly liked after picking up recently? What drew you to it in the first place? Rad.
